The valve disc extends upward into the vessel bottom when opening. This movement breaks through heavy crusts, sediment, or crystallization built up at the bottom of the reactor tank, ensuring smooth fluid flow.
Note: Requires higher torque due to resistance against internal vessel pressure. -
Downward Spreading Discharge Valve (Plunger Opens Downward):
The valve disc retracts downward away from the vessel body to open. Because the disc moves in the direction of the fluid flow, opening torque is lower, and it occupies less internal height clearance inside the tank bottom.
